Mr. B brought LOTS of dinosaurs today, and so Amanda, ever dramatic, has taken advantage of the supply to set up an epic play. Mom finally realized what was going on when she heard Amanda rattling off the following quotes from Cecil B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments as she moved the dinosaurs around:
"Moses went up into the forbidden ground to receive God's law!"
"Yes, but he's not returned."
"Would a God who's shown you such wonders let Moses die before his work is done?"
"Listen to Moses! He speaks God's will!"
This is all strangely appropriate, since Mom and Dad, who also watched The Ten Commandments nearly every Sunday as kids, spent much of their early relationship quoting the movie to each other.
