"I choose cramped!"

The unexpected demise of the transmission in our minivan, which was basically "Mom's car," has led to some interesting changes in our lives. The van still drives, but only in one direction, and so Dad has decided to use it for his to-and-from school transport, since Mom plus the 3 Muffins plus Mr. B can still fit in "Dad's car," a regular 5 passenger vehicle. Needless to say, things are a little cramped in the smaller car, and as one of the boys was protesting the situation, Mom explained the facts of life, that we're either cramped or unable to travel. Amanda, rejoicing in being able to go to her preschool, enthusiastically exclaimed, "I choose cramped!"
