It's a rather wet day today, but Amanda is fine. She's got some new play doh from Uncle Mike, and she's now busy sculpting the palace on Mount Olympus. Earlier, she wanted to play Cyclops with Jared, using her princess headband with one jewel as a cyclops "mask." Did I mention that one of her current favorite movies is an obscure B-grade cartoon about Hercules and Xena? And that one of her favorite educational things is to have Mom read to her from our Susan Wise Bauer history books? She especially likes the Greek stories, and I have a feeling she'll like Rome, too, as we get to that part. Must sign off now; Amanda wants me to come take a closer look at "Mount Olympus: The Home of the Gods!"
