The Jellyfish Song by Amanda

Another installment in the Songs by Amanda series, The Jellyfish Song:

Five jellyfish
Five jellyfish
Five jellyfiiiish
Sitting on the rock
One jumped off
Awwwww

(Repeat as above for four, three, two, one. Then . . .)

No jellyfish
No jellyfish
No jellyfiiiish
Sitting on the rock
One jumped up
Hooray!

Repeat for one thru five jellyfish. Then, "Song that Never Ends" style, count back down again. And back up again. Etc. Or, for extra variety, start singing about the jellyfish sitting on family members' heads. While doing the main part of the song, make a fist with one hand and with the other hand hold up enough fingers for how many jellyfish there are. Bounce the "jellyfish" hand lightly on the "rock" hand while singing the main verse. When jellyfish are jumping on or off, hold up one finger and have it perform the appropriate action. I think Amanda made this song up herself, inspired by "5 little monkeys" and other countdown songs. The tune sounds a little like "Three blind mice" at the beginning, but changes to something unique to Amanda at the "fiiiish" part. Just had to jot this down while I remember it. Maybe it'll be a hit someday. :)
